ARCADE (Applied Research in Computer Arts, Digitization, and Esports) is pleased to announce our internal Incubator Grants are now live!
Incubator Grants aim to support faculty research in gaming, esports, and interactive media technologies with real-world industry applications.
Three funding opportunities are available for January–June 2026: Applied Research Seed Grants (up to $10,000 for individual faculty conducting industry-relevant research), Sponsored Research Collectives (up to $5,000 for interdisciplinary teams of 3+ faculty building industry partnerships), and Curriculum Development grants (up to $2,500 for designing workforce-ready courses with industry engagement, prioritized for non-VES departments).
All full-time faculty and EHRA non-faculty researchers are eligible to apply for projects in areas including virtual production, AI content creation, esports analytics, healthcare simulation, manufacturing technologies, and more!
