The Office of Research Compliance and Integrity at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro is committed to providing clear and comprehensive research integrity policies and procedures that support and promote innovative research. Through educational programs and resources, the office fosters a culture of integrity, collaboration, and innovation across campus. Its services are designed to enhance research, teaching, and other creative endeavors by ensuring that ethical standards are upheld throughout the research process.
The Office of Research Compliance & Integrity (ORCI) is responsible for the oversight of research integrity and compliance matters in the areas of:
- Ethical conduct of human and animal research
- Responsible conduct of research
- Biosafety
- Federal and state regulations
- Export control
- International travel or collaboration policies
- External professional activities
- Conflicts of interest and commitment
- Security
