DESCRIPTION:Theme: “Deepening Civic Learning and Fortifying Civic Culture: What can campuses do now to build beyond 250?” \n\n\n\nFebruary 11\, 2026 at Elon University ﻿  \n\n\n\nProposal Submission Deadline: November 21 \n\n\n\nNCCE’s annual Pathways to Achieving Civic Engagement (PACE) Conference seeks to grow and share the practice and scholarship of higher education community and civic engagement.  \n\n\n\nPlenary and breakout sessions advance the higher education CCE (community and civic engagement) field by sharing research findings\, innovative programs and partnerships\, effective curricular or co-curricular models\, strategies for institutional capacity building\, and best practices. Faculty\, administrators\, graduate students\, and  community partners are all welcome to explore “Pathways to Achieving Civic Engagement.”  \n\n\n\nCurrently accepting proposals for sessions in four formats: \n\n\n\n\nStandard Workshop\n\n\n\nCommunity Conversations\n\n\n\nMini-Sessions\n\n\n\n(NEW!) Civic Learning Showcase Poster Session \n\n\n\n\nRegistration opens the first week in November and is $125 per person for individuals from campuses who are members of NC Campus Engagement or a Partnership Alliance state/regional organization.
